Establish the habit of saving. Pay yourself first as if it were a monthly bill. Save a portion of every raise or bonus but reward and celebrate your accomplishments too.

34 years as a financial advisor when I was told that I wouldn’t make it through my first year. Not a ‘milestone’ just ongoing proof that those people were wrong.

What advice would you give to a candidate who wants to join our team?
This career can be all encompassing. Clients rely on you for more than just financial advice, so it's crucial to find balance in your own life. Stay curious and keep learning to avoid complacency.
